If you read yesterday’s email, then you know I had an appointment with a physiotherapist (finally)…

What you don’t know, is it did NOT go to plan…

Which was very disappointing but, honestly, I expected this because that’s what I usually get from the NHS…

A big dose of disappointment.

Here’s the thing:

When I booked the appointment I was given the choice between 2 clinics to go to…

I picked the clinic closest to my flat, noted the details down and turned up at the appointment yesterday…

But, to my surprise, I was told that the appointment had been booked at the clinic i DID NOT choose…

A common case of human error…which is a little frustrating when you’ve already been stewing in pain and discomfort for a month, waiting for an appointment to be available…

Not to mention the fact my back pain started LAST YEAR IN SEPTEMBER and it’s ONLY getting worse…

So, it’s a little worrying to say the least…

But, that’s not all:

Luckily, I was able to get another appointment booked for later today.

However, I don’t have high hopes…

Expecting disappointment makes it sting a lot less when it’s delivered…

I still felt like absolute shit after yesterday’s “mistake”, but, that’s because doing pretty much ANYTHING is super uncomfortable for me right now…

Walking to a clinic to be sent home with nothing really didn’t help my issues.

My experience with the NHS has conditioned me to expect BS and a lack of help…

My hope for any sort of improvement is dying…

But, I’ll see what happens today…

There’s a lesson in there.

Expect to be disappointed.

Disappointment will visit you more than you’d like…but it’s less annoying when you expect it.

Anyways, if you need some beats for your next single, click the link below…

New beats are up every week (usually), so lemme know if you’re feeling the new additions:

About the author

Jay Cartere

Who is Jay Cartere?

It's a long story, but I'm going to make it short because I respek your time...

I'm a producer, rapper, singer and creative entrepreneur from London.

My musical journey started in 2007 when I decide to spit some lyrics to a grime beat... through a laptop.

That's right, no mic or anything - I was spitting DIRECTLY into the laptop cuz.

It's safe to say things have changed since then...

But, that's not all:

The journey has never been easy...I had to put my entrepreneurial mind to work and figure this stuff out.

I taught myself how to record and engineer my music.

I also had to learn how to film and edit music videos.

How to market, promote, sell and build a business.

Poverty gave me the pressure I needed to develop these skills...

Now I'm gonna share those skills with you...
