How to build your music brand

Good music + bad branding = Unknown Artist

It doesn’t matter how great your music is…If nobody knows it’s YOUR music…

This is especially true for producers…

But, it happens to artists as well.

It’s common for a song to be more popular than the artist who made it…

How do you fix this?

The answer is: Branding.

You can go a few different ways about it…

I’ll dive deeper into your different options when I discuss marketing with you, but for now:

You can create a tag that plays at the beginning of your beats/songs.

This is usually called a “producer tag” and you’ve heard these alot.

Whenever you hear someone (or something) shouting a name or catchphrase at the beginning of a song – that’s a tag.

And these tags are mostly used by producers…

But that’s not all:

Artists can use this trick too…

I mean, why not?

Most artists do this exact same thing with their ad libs…

They create a unique ad lib…

They use the ad lib a lot…

It becomes part of their brand…

Then they use this ad lib at the beginning of songs for brand recognition.

For example:

Big Sean used to say “Finally Famous” or “BOYYY” at the beginning of his songs…

This is a great marketing tactic to build your brand and make people remember you.

And, it doesn’t end there…

I just released a video that reveals how you can create your own tag…

You’ll discover which effects you need to use…

How to get it to sound cool and interesting…
