Sometimes you don’t get what you want…

That’s just a fact of life, right?

This happened to me just a few minutes ago:

Yesterday I ordered groceries online…

Today, most of those groceries were delivered but, it didn’t go as smoothly as I had hoped (like most things in life)…

Instead of getting a 4 pack of Rubicon Mango, I received 2 cartons…which turned out to be more expensive than the 4 pack deal…

But, that wasn’t even the worst part:

I had ordered a 24 pack of toilet paper…

I like to get my TP in bulk so I don’t have to think about it for a while. 

Plus, I have the sniffles (hopefully it doesn’t turn into a full blown cold) so I’m running through copious amounts of TP blowing my nose and all that jazz…

But, the delivery lady didn’t hand me my coveted 24 pack of triple-ply Andrex TP for my buttocks and nose…

No.

Instead, she brought a 4 pack!

A measly 4 pack wont even last until the weekend.

These are truly SAD times!

However, there’s some good news:

I purchased a HUGE 45 pack of TP from amazon that should be arriving tomorrow, so all is not lost in the land of tissue paper…

Anyways, there’s a point to this story and it’s revealed if you read on:

Sometimes, it’s okay to settle for replacements.
