“The second attempt at anything hard will be much easier. Not a little but by A LOT.”
– Bond Halbert, The Boron Letters
I used to be TERRIBLE at everything I’m good at right now:
Music Production (still in the process of mastering this one)
Being on camera
My only natural talent is that I’m a fast learner.
I can follow instructions and analyse data.
Not very exciting stuff…
But, the thing is:
You can become great at ANYTHING you want.
The first time you try it, you’ll be bad at it….
Not the second time…
The second time you’ll have the power of hindsight.
Now you know what to expect, how long it will take, how hard it really is.
The second time you’ll be much better than the first attempt…but still bad.
The sad part is:
Most people don’t even make it to the first attempt.
They sit around thinking instead of doing…
They say everything is easy…but they’ve accomplished nothing to write home about.
It takes a lot for someone to take the leap and make a first attempt…
To make their first video…
Their first beat…
Their first 16…
Their first song…
Even less people are willing to eat the failure of their first attempt and push on to the second.
To the third…the fourth…
And so on.
It takes a lot of attempts to get great at something.
To internalise a skill until it’s part of you…
And that’s why most people will never become great at anything.
It takes too much effort, too much failure, too much time.
What does this mean for you?
Well, you have a great advantage…
You’re on this list so you’re the type of person who’s willing to do what it takes to be great.
There aren’t many people like us out there…
And, I’m happy to help you on your way…
The first thing you need is a website.
No matter WHAT you’re trying to accomplish, you need your own piece of internet real estate.
You can’t rely on platforms you don’t own – that’s risky business.
You need to create a real, sustainable business for the long haul…

I read all my replies and comments, so don’t hesitate to send me your questions…
I filmed a video all about COPPA yesterday because of an email that was sent to me from one of the Digital Art Dealer family.
