And I discovered the 5 elements of lyric structure…
Lyric structure is super important when it comes to your songwriting.
Why?
Because the way you structure your lyrics can change the way your lyrics feel…
It changes the emotions you’re communicating…
Is your message stable or unstable?
Sure or unsure?
Your lyric structure can convey that…
And using the wrong lyric structure can undermine your message too.
So what are the 5 elements of lyric structure?
Here they are:
- Number of lines
- Length of lines
- Rhythm of lines
- Rhyme scheme
- Rhyme type
Now, I’m not gonna get deep into each of these elements right now because I’ve got a busy day ahead of me…
