Alright, I made a mistake…
I totally forgot to send out my daily email today…
It’s not because I’m depressed…
It’s not because quarantine is getting to me…
It’s not because I’m tired of racism…
Here’s the reason:
Last night I realised something important…
I’m bored of making trap songs (I’ll come back to it in a few weeks).
And, I remembered my LOVE for making pop trap songs…
So, I stopped listening to the new Lil Baby, Gunna and Future albums…
And I started listening to that new Halsey album instead.
It’s beautiful stuff, really.
The songwriting is FLAMES.
And I love some simple pop production that just works, you know?
Anyways, this morning I woke up and decided to jump back in my pop bag…
I produced a pop trap beat.
Then I spent the rest of the day filming videos…
Then I remembered I didn’t send out today’s email – so here I am.
After this, I’m gonna see if I can save that song I told you about last week (the one where the producer didn’t send me the stems)…
And I’m also gonna see if I can write and record a new pop BANGER.
Which brings me to the video I made for you yesterday…
I made a video on how to record vocals in FL studio ages ago but the truth is…
FL studio is WACK for recording songs.
It’s great for producing beats but it’s not even top 3 at song recording…
I’ve been using something WAYYY better.
