My stomach felt like it was gonna explode, the pain was crippling…

Yesterday was a wild ride.

Monday’s are usually pretty straightforward for me.

I workout…

I schedule videos and instagram posts…

I do my accounting…

Then do what I want for the rest of the day…

Yesterday was different.

The day started like any other Monday…

I did my stretches and began to workout but, it didn’t go as planned…

About 15 mins into my workout I started to feel a terrible pain in my stomach.

It was so bad I had to quit the workout…

I thought eating would help.

It didn’t…

I tried taking a nap.

That didn’t help either.

Eventually I used a hot water bottle and that eased the pain a bit…

But it didn’t go away.

I was plagued with this random pain for the entire day.

I couldn’t think straight so I couldn’t schedule all my videos and instagram posts.

I had to take the day off.

On a positive note, I did get to enjoy re-watching Community on Netflix.

And today, the pain seems to have gone away…

(I hope I haven’t just spoken too soon)

The point is:

Sometimes shit happens.

Stuff you can’t control.

Sometimes things stand in your way and stop you from reaching your goals…

So what should you do?

Here’s the answer:

Put yourself in a position where you control as many of the variables as you can…

The more people you have to rely on, the more things can go wrong and set you back.

When things go wrong and you can’t control it…

Don’t panic, panicking doesn’t help.

Focus on what you CAN control.

Do what you can.

And listen to your body if you feel like crap…

It’s better to lose a day than lose a week or month because you tried to push on.

This brings me to something all artist need to understand in this era…

You need to understand how to make your own beats.

This is the ONLY way to truly take control of your career!

And even though I thought I was gonna die yesterday…

I still managed to release a video showing you my foolproof method to get better at producing your own beats overnight…

All the best,
