Nobody came to save me . Had to cop my own cape . Had to move my own weight . Had to learn the hard way . Superheroes all fake . Save yourself. I'm pretty sure that I'm addicted to sleep. . I try to get 8 hours...but sometimes it doesn't work out that way... . Every morning, my bed whispers sweet nothings in my ear...and I listen... . Sometimes I end up enjoying a lovely extra 3 hours of sleep... . Sometimes I end up waking up late and feeling like I've wasted bareeee time... . I tried to fix this issue by going to bed earlier... . The other day I went bed around 10pm and I STILL got up at around 10am smh... . But I didn't give up: . Last night I TRIED to go bed early...I ended up falling sleep at around 12pm... . I decided that I WOULD NOT sleep in and enjoy the warm embrace of my memory foam mattress... . And I woke up at 7 BABY! . WOOOO! . I've already worked out, filmed a video and completed bare tasks before 1pm! . This is the life I wanna live lmao . Because as soon as 5pm hits it feels like all my enthusiasm is sucked out of my system . I still love sleep tho, my dreams are brazy and exciting as fuck . But, I'm trying to manage my vices better... . And use my time more efficiently...because time is something you can NEVER get refunded. Once you spend it, it's GARN. . How many hours of sleep are you getting? (comment below) Are you hitting the snooze button on things you KNOW you should be getting done?⠀ .⠀ You know you can’t do that forever, right?⠀ .⠀ Sure, you should be enjoying your youth etc. But, that’s no excuse to be irresponsible...⠀ .⠀ If you’re not building a life you WANT to live...⠀ .⠀ If you’re not consciously building your future...⠀ .⠀ You will wake up one day, overwhelmed by all the shit you couldn’t be bothered to do...⠀ .⠀ Procrastination is a debt you’ll need to pay back, whether you like it or not.⠀ .⠀ The truth is:⠀ .⠀ It’s gonna be VERY hard for you to get your life back on track after your 35...⠀ .⠀ It’s not impossible, this is not an excuse for 35+ people to throw their hands in the air and give up...⠀ .⠀ But damn, it’s like playing life on hard mode...⠀ .⠀ Every year you live, you’ll add more responsibilities to your life...⠀ .⠀ And, with age comes higher expectations...you don’t want to end up feeling like you should’ve done more with your life etc.⠀ .⠀ Discipline is sweeter than regret, in the end.⠀ .⠀ You’ll never get a reimbursement of time...so you MUST spend it wisely...⠀ .⠀ Are you using your time wisely? (Comment below) I went sleep after 4 am last night... . The evening was spent making a beat...and after I got tiredddddd of hearing the same beat over and over... . I had to brush up on my music theory a bit, so I spent an hour studying... . This is just the skill building/studying part... . I’ve done it many times before, I’m no stranger to the process at this point... . Let me explain: . You start out being astronomically shit at something... . And, through practice, determination and good direction...eventually you become mediocre at it. . When you can produce mediocre results consistently...that’s when you’re able to get creative, experiment and produce GREATNESS. . But, it all starts with being absolutely TERRIBLE at your thing...so embrace that. . Here’s the thing: . By the end of this month, I should be able to produce consistent “okay” beats... . Then we’ll go crazyyyy cuz . So, start being shitty at something you wanna get good at ASAP. .
