What is Klout?

Klout is a free app/website that tells you how influential you are online. After connecting your various social networks, Klout calculates if you’re popping online by measuring how much interaction you get and giving you a score out of 100 that represents your social influence.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Checking your Klout score is a great way to see how your promotional efforts are going across your social platforms. You can’t monitor specific stats, but you can get an idea of whether you had a good day or a bad day online by seeing if your score went up or down.
 
 
 
Using Klout is also a great way to motivate yourself to be a better content creator. Every day I check my score, if it’s decreased I try to step my game up and put out better stuff and if it’s increased I try to keep putting out great content in order to reach the next number up.
